一种,是ablished in 1976, is a leading construction equipment and construction systems solution provider with a strong reputation for excellent after-sales service and customer support. It plays an important role in developing Saudi Arabia's infrastructure and industries.

"The mission of GTE is to have strong relationships with its customers by providing best-in-class solutions, products, service and support," says Dr. Mohamed Shams Elramly, general manager at GTE. "This is why GTE is happy to add Keestrack state-of-the-art crushing and screening equipment to our product portfolio."

Keestrack CEO Frederik Hoogendoorn and Giovanni Bartoli, the manufacturer's area sales manager, are looking forward to working with GTE to expand the business in Saudi Arabia. "GTE is a very professional and experienced company in the construction business with excellent staff, and they have the same customer focus as Keestrack has: solution-oriented," says Hoogendoorn.

GTE has its headquarters in Damman and consists of nine branches with their own sales and aftersales support and five service centres with workshops. The company has three divisions: Construction Equipment, Cleaning & Industrial Equipment and Construction Systems. It does business in construction, agriculture, infrastructure, mining, warehousing, facility management, utilities, industrial factories and oil & gas. "For Keestrack equipment, the focus in Saudi Arabia will be on quarrying and mining, but also to some extent on potential recycling business," says Giovanni Bartoli.

"One of the reasons GTE wanted to become a KEESTRACK dealer is the ability to deliver fully electric-powered mobile crushing and screening equipment. The high-tech Keestrack machinery reduces the cost of ownership and gives great flexibility to drive systems and electric interconnectivity. Introducing the mobile crushing and screening concept will be a great opportunity for GTE in Saudia Arabia, as stationary applications are the standard. With GTE's expertise within the market, Keestrack is confident GTE can easily explain the advantages of the high-capacity mobile crushers and screens to their clients," Bartoli continues.

Keestrack, the global specialist for mobile crushing and screening equipment in the mining & quarrying, recycling and aggregates industry, started introducing electric drives in 2012 with the e-drive, an electric plug-in with onboard diesel/gen-set, in case there is no electric plug-in available. The e-driven machines evolved to equipment with a drop-off engine/gen-set unit, which could be placed next to the equipment, in less dusty and vibrant circumstances, or on the machine's frame.

In 2021, Keestrack introduced ZERO-drive machines without any combustion engine. Electric motors drive most mobile crushing and screening equipment and power some necessary hydraulics systems. The following equipment is available in ZERO-drive: all cone crushers, impact crushers including the reversible vertical impact crusher I4e, scalper screens and the C6e classifier, all stackers, almost all jaw crushers and the tracked Apron feeder A6.

As a backup for the ZERO-drive machines, Keestrack developed a tracked engine/generator unit introduced at bauma Munich (24-30 October 2022). It can supply connected Keestrack crushers, screens and stackers directly with electricity in case no plug-in connection from the grid is available. This way, the economic advantages of the complete production train will rise due to using and maintaining only one engine for several machines.
